The story narrates the journey of the Little Prince among the stars. The protagonist sets out from his asteroid B-612, where his Flower resides. The Little Prince loves his Flower and takes care of it, even though it is a bit temperamental. So, the Little Prince decides to embark on a journey to meet new people and discover the universe, but above all, to understand what friendship really means before returning to his Flower. The first planet he lands on is inhabited by a King, whose only desire is to rule over others. Then, the journey continues to the planet of the Businessman, who only craves to count and possess the stars. But the Little Prince soon understands that stars cannot be possessed… so, he continues his journey to the planet of the Geographer. He is solely focused on studying and doesn’t even know his own planet because he’s not an explorer. The Little Prince asks the Geographer where he can continue his journey, and he advises him to go to a planet called Earth. Here, he meets the Echo, which only repeats Little Prince’s words. Later, he comes across a Garden of roses that seem to resemble his Flower, but the Little Prince understands that his Flower is truly unique. He then realizes how much he is missing it. The Little Prince cries for his Flower until he meets the Fox. The Fox finally makes our protagonist understand what friendship really means: “It’s the time you spent on your Flower that makes it so important and unique in the whole universe.” So, the Little Prince decides to return to his planet and his Flower.
