Tutti all’opera

On the occasion of the 60th Macerata Opera Festival, the new artistic director Paolo Gavazzeni has devised a new approach path dedicated to spectators of all ages, Tutti all’opera with a series of meetings-shows at the Teatro Lauro Rossi dedicated to the operas and participation in the ensemble rehearsals at the Sferisterio.
The participation of students and under-30s in the performances of the Macerata Opera Festiva has been made much easier this year: with a 7-euro ticket, they will be able to attend the rehearsals of the operas at the Sferisterio (i.e. the rehearsals in which orchestra, chorus, vocal performers and direction team meet and define the details of the ensemble) and discover how a performance is created, and then purchase a ticket for the actual performances at a special price (30-euro, red sector).

We inform the public that only 200 spectators will be admitted to the meetings at the Lauro Rossi Theatre and to each open rehearsal session at the Sferisterio. This is to make the experience more involving and participative in relation to the activity and the aims of the initiative.
