Opera teaser by the students of the Text Semiotics Course of the University of Macerata, coordinated by Professor Marcello La Matina, in collaboration with the Associazione Amici dello Sferisterio (association of Friends of the Sferisterio) and the CTR Cultural Association. The opera will be summarised in fifteen minutes, without spoiling the ending.

After five intense months of analysing Shakespeare’s texts and completing theatre internships, students and professors of the University of Macerata have forged an artistic path based on the fruitful exchange of ideas and suggestions, which has led to a final performance.

Thanks to the Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata, the whole city will celebrate #rossodesiderio with two permanent installations in the Emiciclo Torri, in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, and with the facade of the Sferisterio illuminated in red.

GABA.MC Young becomes a social space inspired by your photos on Instagram with the hashtag #rossocomeopera. Use it to share your desire for Red. All of the shots will make up a video installation of free and constantly evolving images; the best ones will be printed and displayed. The second exhibition space will be constantly connected to Instagram to create a video installation of “Red” images.
