Flavio Cavalli is the new Superintendent of the Arena Sferisterio Association

The Board of Directors of the Arena Sferisterio Association, which met in Macerata on Monday, November 21, unanimously decided to appoint Flavio Cavalli as Superintendent for the 2023-2024 term with immediate effect. The appointment is full-time and on an exclusive basis.

The Board of Directors emphasized that, once again, managerial positions have been open to a public expression of interest, which is both a defining and necessary feature for the Association. This complex process, with its timing and procedures, in full compliance with the law, guarantees transparency and renewal for the city.

The President of the Board of Directors, Sandro Parcaroli, on behalf of the entire board as well as of Paolo Pinamonti, Artistic Director, wishes the Superintendent every success in his new role.

Flavio Cavalli (born in Rimini in 1959) graduated in Administration, Finance, and Control from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo and has been a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Pesaro since 1986. He works in tax, corporate, and contractual consulting with a focus on organizational management. He is also a legal auditor and technical consultant for the Court of Pesaro. He was the general director of the Rossini Opera Festival (2010-2016) and, from 2011 to 2018, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Marche Spettacolo Consortium. He has gained considerable experience in the entertainment and tourism sectors, particularly in the tour operating sector.
